Based on environmental conditions:

LCD TVs may be preferable for well-lit environments, such as sunlit living rooms, as they can achieve higher brightness levels.

OLED TVs are more suitable for dark viewing environments, such as home theaters or nighttime viewing, as they can provide better picture quality and visual experience due to their true black representation and higher contrast.
